5. First up is The Day the Earth Stood Still: Special Edition. Before Keanu Reeves reprises the role of Klaatu in the big-budget remake, revisit this 1950s sci-fi classic, with new special features.
4. The next release is The X-Files: I Want to Believe. Get your taste of the paranormal FBI investigators Mulder and Scully in this monster-of-the-week big screen installment to the classic TV show.
3. In the number three spot, we have Step Brothers. Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly star in this raunchy comedy about 40-year-old man-children who have trouble adjusting to their parents’ marriage. Check out an even raunchier unrated version of the film on DVD.
2. At number two is Wanted. Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy sizzle in this action thriller about a fraternity of assassins, available with two discs and digital copy.
1. And topping the list of my DVD picks is The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Return to Narnia with this new fantasy adventure, in a three-disc special edition loaded with deleted scenes, featurettes and tons of bonus material.
STINKER OF THE WEEK – And be sure to avoid this week’s stinker – Fly Me to the Moon. It was the first CGI movie released only in crystal clear digital 3D. And on DVD, it’s not. So why bother?
And that’s the DVD Rundown. This is Kevin Carr, and that’s the way I see it.
