5. First up is the comedy Ghost Town. Ricky Gervais plays an acerbic dentist who suddenly can communicate with the spirit world after a routine colonoscopy.
4. The next release is An American Carol. Former liberal David Zucker skewers Michael Moore and his beliefs in this conservative spin on Hollywood at large.
3. In the number three spot, we have The Roast of Bob Saget. He might be remembered as wholesome from his “Full House” days, but his friends lay on the raunch when they give Saget what-for in this Comedy Central roast.
2. At number two is Resident Evil: Degeneration. Capcom delivers a thrilling zombie biohazard film in CGI, a partial sequel to the video game series and successful film trilogy.
1. And topping the list of my DVD picks is Eagle Eye. Shia LaBeouf stars in this utterly silly yet fun and exciting thriller about a man coerced into treason.
STINKER OF THE WEEK – And be sure to avoid this week’s stinker – Surfer, Dude. Matthew McConaughey dopes us out in this stoner comedy that forgets to make us laugh.
