5. First up is Bangkok Dangerous. It’s Nicholas Cage… with a mullet. What’s not to like about that?
4. The next release is Babylon A.D. Vin Diesel stars in this futuristic sci-fi thriller about a smuggler trying to save a young woman.
3. In the number three spot, we have Righteous Kill. Al Pacino and Robert De Niro share the screen as buddy cops in this buddy cop thriller. Fun to see for the two screen legends together.
2. At number two is Pineapple Express. Seth Rogan and James Franco star in this stoner version of a “Lethal Weapon” film.
1. And topping the list of my DVD picks is Battlestar Galactica: Season 4.0. Hands down, one of the best shows on television, the first half of the fourth season is on DVD in time to catch up before the second half starts airing on January 16.
STINKER OF THE WEEK – And be sure to avoid this week’s stinker – Disaster Movie. The most accurately named film of 2008 is the spoof movie to end all spoof movies… literally.
