5. First up is Brideshead Revisited, the new adaptation of Evelyn Waugh’s classic novel.
4. The next release is Swing Vote. Kevin Costner stars as an everyday Joe who, through a voting machine mix-up, gets to cast the deciding vote in a rigorous presidential election.
3. In the number three spot, we have another wave of Audrey Hepburn classic films from Paramount. Enjoy the Centennial Collection’s new installments that include Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Funny Face.
2. At number two is Appaloosa. Nope, not the horse. Instead, an old-school western starring Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen as lawmen trying to clean up a rugged town.
1. And topping the list of my DVD picks is Mirrors. Kiefer Sutherland stars as a security guard who discovers that he and his family are being haunted by spirits found in mirror reflections.
STINKER OF THE WEEK – And be sure to avoid this week’s stinker – My Best Friend’s Girl. Sure, Kate Hudson is nice to look at, but not when she’s with Dane Cook.
And that’s the DVD Rundown. This is Kevin Carr, and that’s the way I see it.
