5. First up is Repo!: The Genetic Opera, a rock opera for the 21st century by the director of the SAW films, featuring a sardonic look at consumer credit extended to our bodies.

4. The next release is The Express, the bittersweet story of Heisman Trophy winner Ernie Davis.

3. In the number three spot, we have City of Ember. Bill Murray headlines this futuristic tale of two kids trying to bring the human race back to the surface of the Earth after the apocalypse.

2. At number two is Max Payne. Mark Wahlberg plays the video game legend who goes toe to toe with drug dealers and Norse Valkyries.

1. And topping the list of my DVD picks is Saw V. More blood and guts – and a twisted morality tale – from the serial killer Jigsaw in a grisly unrated edition.

STINKER OF THE WEEK – And be sure to avoid this week’s stinker – Herny Poole Is Here. There’s about ten minutes of story in this drawn out, pretentious art house flick that went nowhere.

And that’s the DVD Rundown. This is Kevin Carr, and that’s the way I see it.
