5. First up is Vicky Christina Barcelona. Woody Allen returns to his classic style with this neurotic male fantasy of love and sex against the backdrop of Spain.
4. The next release is Mary Poppins: 45th Anniversary Edition, the classic Disney musical in an all-new two-disc set.
3. In the number three spot, we have Hulk Vs. Lionsgate and Marvel animation serve up two short films featuring the Incredible Hulk going toe-to-toe with Wolverine, then with the Mighty Thor.
2. At number two is The Rocker. TV’s Dwight Shrute plays a has-been rocker who missed his chance at greatness only to find stardom with his nephew’s garage band.
1. And topping the list of my DVD picks is RockNRolla. Guy Ritchie does what he does best – tight, hilarious action within the underbelly of the London crime scene.
STINKER OF THE WEEK – And be sure to avoid this week’s stinker – Pride and Glory. Edward Norton and Colin Farrell star in the most unnecessarily violent and frenetic buddy cop film in years.
And that’s the DVD Rundown. This is Kevin Carr, and that’s the way I see it.
